There is a lot of “we” talk on this site — that “we” is us! We’re Zhiqun & Jing Lin, and the co-founders of Kopi Date. We started Kopi Date in 2018 as a spontaneous social experiment — an extension of our true desire to live authentically (being human and meeting new people) and mindfully (be intentional of our actions).

People are at the heart of what we do, and we’re immensely humbled to be serving an industry that allows us to be part of the human experience. Our mission has, and still is, to build true human connections.

CHANGE ISN’T EASY

Kopi Date was founded on the idea of change. Our idea was, and still is, to humanise connections in an overly digitised world.

HOW IT STARTED

Kopi date was born out of a flea market at Carouselland 2018. The modest setup comprised a table and two chairs, specially reserved for dates to enjoy a cuppa. Since the event, we have received a huge demand and favourable responses over the service and concept. This propelled is to pursue, build and innovate the product in which everyone can enjoy today.
